Job Summary:

The Accountant will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.

A Day in the life :

  • Perform assigned month-end closing procedures while meeting strict deadlines
  • Create invoices and process receivables through entry to the accounting software
  • Process invoices as part of the AP function
  • Assist with daily cash payment process and other treasury functions as needed
  • Work both internally and externally to support timely collection of receivables and resolve customer/vendor discrepancies
  • Prepare and enter journal entries and perform other routine accounting duties
  • Compile data and prepare reports to support internal and external requirements
  • Reconcile assigned accounts in a timely fashion in accordance with SOX procedures
  • Assist with annual audit
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
