The Bermuda Monetary Authority (Authority or BMA) is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced individual to work as a Senior Operations Support Analyst within our Business and Operations Support Department. Reporting to the Director, the postholder will be responsible for supporting the Operations Support Group by providing cross-functional coordination, analysis and execution support across facilities management, vendor management, systems integration and sustainability initiatives. They will also ensure operational activities are aligned, tracked and optimised to deliver efficient, compliant, and sustainable outcomes.

This is a key role for the Authority and the postholder will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Providing day-to-day support across facilities, vendor, systems and sustainability functions
• Coordinating activities across multiple operational workstreams
• Identifying and resolving operational gaps and inefficiencies
• Supporting end-to-end vendor lifecycle activities including onboarding, SLA monitoring, performance tracking, reporting and coordination with internal stakeholders on vendor-related issues
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports (KPIs, operational metrics, sustainability performance indicators)
• Analysing trends and providing insights to support decision-making
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost-tracking activities
• Supporting delivery of cross-functional projects and initiatives, including tracking milestones, risks and dependencies
• Assisting with documentation, reporting and stakeholder updates
• Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, supporting implementation of process improvements and standardisation and contributing to the development operational best practices
• Ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements and supporting audits, risk assessments and compliance reporting
• Assisting in maintaining operational documentation and procedures
• Performing other related work and special projects as assigned by management in accordance with competencies normally associated with the post

The position requires a proven technical and business background; therefore, the postholder must have:
• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in a business, operations, engineering, IT or related field from a recognised institution or professional body
• A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in operations, business analysis, or similar role within the financial services industry and/or with a financial regulatory body
• Experience working across multiple operational domains (facilities, IT, vendors, etc.)
• Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI or similar)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMO, Agile, or hybrid)
• Experience in regulated environments is an asset
