Description

Blue Nile is looking for a passionate and talented Shipping Assistant (seasonal) who will work in conjunction with the distribution team. This position will assist in the packaging and shipping of customer orders that meet Blue Nile shipping and service standards. There is potential to convert to a  full-time, regular position. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare (picking & packing) customer orders for shipment, both domestic and international
  • Prepare shipments for returning product to vendors
  • Work with shipping couriers
  • Prepare and maintain shipping supplies and help keep department organized
  • Support other Fulfillment Center departments as needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum direction, self-starter, process focused
  • Dependability is a must – excellent attendance, punctuality and job focus

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to work seasonal mandatory overtime including early start times, holidays, weekends, etc.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds to chest level
  • Ability to stand in one place for long periods of time
