System Analyst Intern

Job Summary
This position will assist the System Analysts on the Applications Team
Duties/Responsibilities
Work directly with Digital Solutions and Technology teams.
Requirements Analysis & Technical Documentation
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements using techniques like data modeling, process mapping, and use case development.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, API documentation, and integration workflows.
- Validate requirements against system architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
System Configuration & Testing
- Configure application settings and workflows based on business needs.
- Develop and execute test cases, SQL queries, and data validation scripts to ensure system accuracy.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and troubleshoot defects with development teams.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform data extraction and analysis using SQL.
- Generate reports on system performance, error logs, and usage metrics.
- Identify trends and anomalies to support decision-making and process improvements.
Tool & Environment Management
- Maintain and optimize project and system tracking tools
Communication & Technical Liaison
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical support for system-related inquiries and assist in root cause analysis.
- Ensure stakeholders are informed of technical impacts, dependencies, and release schedules.
Responsibilities for Food Safety
- Responsible for completing required paperwork accurately and honestly as applicable.
- Must adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and all Food and Employee Safety policies.
- Must adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures as applicable.
- Responsible for reporting suspicious packages, activities, and individuals.
- If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Actively enrolled in: Business related field of study, Computer Science, or anything related to Technical expertise.
