Description
SUMMARY
Perform all duties associated with shipping and receiving of product, and inventory management.
Shift: 3rd
Hours: 10pm-630am
There may be occasions where overtime is necessary at the weekends or adjustments to your hours may be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.
- Responsible for guiding, training, and leading their team to ensure the accurate and efficient packaging of Division 3 Bulk/Retail products.
- Responsible for the continuous and efficient operation of all departmental processing equipment.
- Verify HACCP and internal GMP guidelines are followed as well as the integrity of all products throughout the Pack out Process.
- Directs multiple staff to handle varying production flows of Bulk/Retail products within the Pack Out Department.
- Adheres to and supports all Safety related programs and requirements.
- Ability to lead, be a teacher, and create a positive work environment.
- Bulk:
- Leads a staff of 8-10 employees (pending production flow) within the Bulk Pack out department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and efficiency of these staff members. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Retail:
- Direct a total of 13 to 19 employees (pending production flow) in the Retail Pack out department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and efficiency of these staff members and the overall performance of the team

- The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, in the process of order picking. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, using safe lifting techniques. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Working in a freezer/cooler/dock environment (0-32 degrees F). Floor of work area may be icy, so care must be taken when walking, or with driving equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
