Description
The Internship Program is designed for Juniors, Seniors and Graduate school students, majoring in accounting. The program has proven to be successful and provides real-world experience in the public accounting profession. Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following tasks:
1. Scan documents 2. Reviews and validates scanned documents 3. Prepares basic tax returns and workpapers 4. Imports data from client’s files to our workpaper files. 5. Learns to use accounting and tax software 6. Provides assistance to Partners, Senior Associates, and In-Charge Associates. 7. Develop an understanding of internal CPA practices. 8. Develop an understanding of teamwork within a work environment. |
Position Requirements |
• Students in their junior year, senior year, or a master's program. At least one section of Intermediate accounting should have already been successfully passed.
• GPA's of 3.0 and higher. • Availability of at least 24 hours per week is preferred • Interns should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines, multi-task, and possess critical thinking skills. • Interns should be aspiring to obtain CPA certification • Interns should have a willingness and desire to learn more about public accounting. • Attributes that demonstrate initiative, career-oriented intensity, above average Excel/IT skills, and professionalism will be significant factors in our selection of candidates. |
