We are bringing to market a new generation of cloud-delivered learning technologies; predictive analytics; and course content accessibility software, as well as launching partnerships with IBM and AWS. Anthology has a significant customer base in ANZ, many of whom are renowned for a sophisticated understanding of teaching and learning. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for the management of Anthology's extensive client base in a defined territory within Australia and for growing new business across our product portfolio throughout the region. Specifically, you will build an executive-level understanding of client challenges in supporting enterprise-level e-Learning and positioning our solutions and technical services over time to achieve mutual success. You will be the single executive point of customer contact for Anthology and will work to keep key client relationships in good health as well as direct the engagement of our Solutions Engineers, Consulting, and Services teams for clients and opportunities in NSW or QLD. You may also take on existing client portfolios, in which case you will be accountable for growing new business and for the retention of existing contracts.

 

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for developing trusted partnerships with clients based on well-developed situational fluency relevant to the education and technology sectors
  • Defining and executing account and sales territory sales plans and meet or exceed set sales quotas while adhering to Anthology's values and sales rules of engagement
  • Managing enterprise solution sales with 6-18 month purchasing cycles
  • Managing sales pipeline and effectively use the salesforce automation tool
  • This role requires approximately 25-50% travel

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise solution or technical sales
  • Deep understanding of working in a tertiary education context with significant professional experience in the broader education sector (e.g. teaching, management, services, program management, consulting)
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including active listening

Excellent oral and written presentation skills with a high attention to detail and time management

Experience managing ongoing effective working relationships at senior management levels and a demonstrated consultative approach to negotiation, problem-solving, and/or selling

Proven people leadership and management within a multi-disciplined team

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Professional networks in the education sector or professional experience with an LMS, or other education technologies
