As Data Analyst, you will play an integral role as part of the Global Customer Support department. This team drives Anthology’s core strategy of operational efficiency by innovating, streamlining, and implementing world-class tools and business processes across the organization.
This role reports to the Director of Customer Support in the Global Customer Support organization.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Administering a PostgreSQL database
- Managing and creating data sets available through BI tool (Chartio, Power BI or others)
- Helping automate and refresh reports and dashboards in a BI Tool through queries
- Helping team improve data quality and data availability by analyzing existing data and data sets
- Providing systems best practices recommendations to enhance efficiency and overall data quality of our systems
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- 2-5 years of professional experience in SQL querying and proven ability to work with large and complex data sets
- 2-5 years of professional experience working with a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Chartio, Domo, Salesforce Einstein, etc.)
- Interest in sales data analytics and data quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to effectively partner with fellow colleagues of all levels
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- Experience working with Salesforce.com data
- Previous experience in the education or information technology industry
