Role Overview

As a Solutions Consultant, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to our prospects and customers, identifying their needs and demonstrating how Blackbear’s platform and services can deliver maximum value. You’ll bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business outcomes, working closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive successful onboarding, adoption, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to support discovery, demos, and solution design during the sales cycle.
  • Analyze client needs and develop tailored proposals and implementation plans aligned with their goals.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that highlight the value of the Blackbear platform and services.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback and influence the roadmap based on customer needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during onboarding and initial implementation to ensure client satisfaction and success.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, onboarding templates, and solution guides.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams on the capabilities and best practices for using Blackbear.
  • Help shape scalable consulting processes as the company and client base grow.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales, or similar client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, solution selling, and client success strategies.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative, curious, and adaptable in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, CS, Engineering).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and productivity platforms.

Preferred but Not Required

  • Experience in consulting, marketplaces, or work management platforms.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, basic scripting, or low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Multilingual capabilities.
