Project Engineer
Description
BKF has an immediate opening for a civil engineer with strong technical abilities, experience in transportation project design, and able to work with a team of engineers on small and large projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Geometric calculations and plotting (cross-sections, Highway/Roadway, profiles, and active transportation projects.).
- Routine hydraulics calculations.
- Site grading calculations and plotting.
- Computer and CAD systems usage.
- Research/data collection from public agencies.
- Projects include Residential, Commercial, Mixed-use, Roadway, Highway and public works projects.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in site development, and design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, and roadways.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required.
- EIT/FE certification required.
- Professional Engineering license in the State of California is preferred.
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required.

Pay:
- The typical base salary range for this position is $98,500 - $122,500 annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
