Assistant Warehouse Manager

We are a growing company and currently have 53 sales facilities located throughout North America and 7 distribution centers. We are looking to add an assistant manager to our warehouse in our local Oakville, ON facility.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of management/leadership experience working within a warehouse, ideally within a distribution environment
- Experience in Receiving, Receiving Inspection and Shipping (via UPS and FED-EX, international experience a plus)
- Knowledge of electronic table-top scales (weights & measurements)
- Cycle counting experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced, working environment for distribution pulling, cutting, packing and shipping orders. Must be able to meet required daily goals.
- Team player who can also work with little supervision and willing to give 120%.
- Must be detail oriented, organized and meticulous about your work
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly + stand/and or be on your feet 8hrs a day
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Computer experience using Excel, Word and Outlook
