This position will support the marketing team in the coordination and implementation of core events in the region.
In charge of planning, organization and execution of : BioMarin Exclusive Events such as Expert Meetings / Advisory Boards and other similar events; BioMarin Staff Meetings such as Kick Off, Pre Brand Plan; Regional and International Congresses; Brazil local Congresses and any other similar events.
Facilitate implementation of current transparency laws regarding expenses with health care professionals in alignment with Compliance rules;
Better implement post meeting auditing evidences (dossier with complete meeting profile and details for auditing purposes);
Coordination and control of company polices and local rules such number of staffs over guests on international events, number of invitations to national and international events of same specialist, number of talks with same speakers…
Support on contracting and agreement with vendors, speakers and attendees;
Implementation of intelligent reports such as: return of investment / post meeting / surveys / expenditure per guest / annual expenditures per franchise
Liaise between countries, functional areas and compliance to assure strategy alignment. Keep a control calendar of initiatives and share with team
Guarantee brand communication alignment between events and brands
Support other BioMarin core events such Universe MPS, Training initiatives and Medical Advisory boards
Impacts directly in the implementation of great execution of marketing strategies for smooth implementation. Therefore impacts directly in the continued medical education, brand messages and stakeholder engagement.
Education and general requirements: Graduation, previous 5years of experience in the area, English and Spanish languages are required
Experience and Skills required: Office Package; Pharmaceutical experience is preferred; Fluency in English and good knowledge of Spanish; Good planning and excellent organizational skills; Strong written and oral communication skills; Strong negotiation skills; Attention to details and quality focus; Ability to self-motivate and work independently to meet timelines; Team player.
