About Corporate Groups

- Provide mentorship, development, and leadership to the technical and revenue accounting teams.
- Serve as the company’s primary technical accounting advisor, on U.S. GAAP for complex, judgmental or non‑routine transactions.
- Perform technical research, prepare well‑supported accounting memos, align stakeholders and support audit readiness.
- Lead technical accounting assessments for ASC 606, ASC 805, ASC 326, impairment, and other key areas.
- Partner on M&A, licensing, collaborations and other business development arrangements—identifying accounting implications early and advising on deal structure and close execution.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Commercial, Business Development and Technical Operations to evaluate contract terms, provide guidance on structure of transactions and assess the accounting impacts of proposed business initiatives.
- Monitor emerging accounting guidance (FASB, SEC) and lead company‑wide implementation efforts.
- Support internal reporting, including footnotes and internal MD&A‑related disclosures.
- Support internal controls and strengthen technical accounting‑related processes.
- Lead the revenue accounting team and the revenue close process, including gross to net adjustments and reconciliations
- Partner with Order to Cash (O2C) team on issues including order management, billing, collections, customer credit, and cash application, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Lead the development and maintenance of accounting policies, ensuring alignment with evolving business practices and new accounting standards.
- Drive process excellence in revenue accounting processes, including automation, improved documentation, and strengthened internal controls.
- Lead integration efforts as needed, partnering with Finance Systems, FP&A, and operational teams to align processes, controls, and reporting for a smooth close and compliant revenue recognition.
- Adapt to a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Perform other projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- CPA required (or equivalent international qualification).
- 7- 10+ years of revenue recognition experience, ideally in life science
- Expert knowledge of ASC 606 and complex revenue arrangements, ASC 326 and ASC 805.
- Proven ability to lead technical research and manage complex transactions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex accounting for business leaders
- Experience leading teams and managing cross‑functional projects.
