About Research and Development
From research and discovery to post-marketing clinical development, our R&D engine involves all bench and clinical research and the associated groups that support those endeavors. Our teams work on developing breakthrough medicines that provide meaningful advances to patients living with rare genetic conditions.
Position Objective:
To support the Medical Affairs team with operational activities to ensure the proper implementation of medical projects, in compliance with BioMarin’s ethical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and organization of medical events in accordance with internal compliance guidelines.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with other departments (Regulatory, Market Access, Marketing), always under Medical Affairs supervision.
• Support the execution of processes related to medical event management.
Requirements:
• Active undergraduate student in the final semesters of a bachelor’s degree program.
• Strong attention to detail, professional ethics, and adherence to processes.
• Analytical skills and ability to anticipate risks.
• Interest in the pharmaceutical industry.
• English proficiency.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
