Talent Development Coordinator
BioMarin is the world leader in delivering therapeutics that provide meaningful advances to patients who live with serious and life-threatening rare genetic diseases. We target diseases that lack effective therapies and affect relatively small numbers of patients, many of whom are children. These conditions are often inherited, difficult to diagnose, progressively debilitating and have few, if any, treatment options. BioMarin will continue to focus on advancing therapies that are the first or best of their kind.
This is an entry level role- we are ideally looking for someone at graduate level with some exposure to L&D systems.
Support is required in the following:
EUMEA Course Catalog logistics management,
Administration support for PO requisitions ,
Admin support and processing of travel expenses for EUMEA Talent Development Director
Diary management, i.e. setting up multiple meeting/interviews with internal & external stakeholders.
Logistics management and events co-ordination for training events in London office and other EUMEA
Technical support is also required for the updating and maintenance of the Talent Development Course
Catalog on the Learning Management System – Biolearn.
Biolearn houses the EUMEA Course Catalog and enrollment system for learning and development
programmes in EUMEA.
Biolearn needs to be administered effectively resulting in employees having access to be enrolled and to
self-enroll for the core curriculum (mandatory) and elective (optional) courses, respectively.
Administration for EUMEA Talent Development programs and projects:
• Marketing of workshops
• Scheduling workshops and other L&D events
• Participant enrollment and tracking
• Manage participant evaluation and feedback following attendance at programmes
• Integrate training plans as applicable within the Learning Management System
• Liaising with our external L&D partners (in conjunction with EUMEA TD Directo) for logistical
• Liaising with internal stakeholders for logistical coordination
• Managing all aspects of new hire orientation (NHO)
• Facilitate NHO for London office
Technical Support and Management of Learning Management System (Biolearn) and Bioweb and
Talent Development Comms
Populate EUMEA L&D Biolearn with employee population according to site
Maintain and update EUMEA Talent Development Course catalog for EUMEA
Assign core curriculum for EUMEA to appropriate employee population
Create enrolment opportunities for elective courses
Update and adapt the portal page and course offering on Biolearn appropriately
Manage cost assignment for non attendees
Create reports for utilization and logistical purposes
Manage the department’s Sharepoint based BioWeb page and update with current offerings and news
The successful candidate must be strong in the following skills:
Attention to detail
Written and verbal skills
Technical skills; confidence and competence with web based systems (preferred)
Training will be provided on Learning Management System administration and updates.
Support and mentoring to create New Hire Orientation programme will be provided.
This is a customer facing role in that there are multiple stakeholders in multiple locations and time
