SUMMARY

The Integrated Planning and Governance position will support planning, governance processes, and initiatives to drive commercial success across International sub-regions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including BU/ Sub-regions Marketing teams, Sales, FP&A and Business Insights and Commercial Excellence (BI&CE), to ensure the alignment of commercial activities with regulatory standards and organizational goals. You will develop governance frameworks, manage and monitor key processes across teams, and monitor performance metrics to optimize performance.
 
This position has an International scope composed mainly of six sub-regions: Northern Latin America, Southern Cone, AMEA, West Europe & Canada, North & East Europe, and Turkey & Russia.
 
The position will report to the International Senior Director of Commercial Performance and Operations.
 
RESPONSABILITIES
  • Minimum of 8 years on Pharmaceutical Industry  
  • Experience in similar roles demonstrated
  • Commercial Planning and Strategy Development
  • Lead regular business reviews to assess performance against commercial goals, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans as needed.
  • Establishes and oversee governance processes for commercial activities to ensure performance forums and activities are accomplished on target
  • Partners with BUs and central functions to coordinate strategic planning processes/projects for International markets
  • Identify and execute projects throughout the region to maximize commercial performance
  • Designs and monitors data and key performance indicators (KPIs), creates detailed reports to evaluate the success of commercial strategies.
  • Generates regular reports and dashboards that provide insights into performance metrics and governance processes.
  • Leverages data insights to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic adjustments to commercial plans.
  • Provides ongoing coaching and development support to commercial teams, helping them navigate governance processes effectively. Communicates all governance processes
  • Serve as a liaison between commercial teams and other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective implementation of governance frameworks.
  • Coordinate with regional and global commercial teams to align local initiatives with overarching company goals.
  • Manage events and marketing operations team for international to guarantee marketing processes are seamlessly executed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, life sciences, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial operations, planning, or governance in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, commercial practices, and compliance requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business analysis, and risk management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regional healthcare markets and commercial operations
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills
 
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to assess commercial performance and opportunities.
Project Management: Skilled in leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including senior leadership, country managers, and cross-functional teams.
Leadership: Capable of guiding and influencing teams to adhere to governance standards while achieving commercial objectives.
People management and development: Proven record of effective team management and development.
  • Fluent English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus
