About Commercial
Our Commercial organization leads our global sales and marketing strategies around the world. Our integrated team continues to solidify BioMarin’s commercial presence in the United States and Europe and is rapidly growing in other regions, such as Latin America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
- Manage Marketing finances across multiple brands in the Enzyme BU, including accruals
- Manage Contracts, including speaker agreements for external events and BU meetings
- External Vendor optimisation (agencies) programme initiatives to improve cost and to create efficiencies
- Training of BU external vendors on BioMarin internal processes and systems to ensure high standards of compliance
- Training of BU (internal) on internal systems and processes to ensure organisational effectiveness
- Project Ignite Project- UAT testing and Superuser
- Create consistent WOW (ways of working) across different Enzyme marketing teams & BU direct countries’ marketing to ensure alignment
- “Can do” attitude to focus self and team on project delivery
- Ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse set of individuals and groups
- Ability to influence and generate commitment from others without direct authority through a solid understanding of stakeholders' needs and motivations
- Robust Administration skills: extremely organised with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a cross-functional team
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills
- Ability to understand and interpret complex data
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Marketing education an advantage
