Quote Coordinator
Description
Supports and works closely with Sales Managers and Contract Coordinator through the entire lifecycle of the sales process. Responsible for: customer account creation, vendor registration and/or any sales related processes. Ensures Agreements in CPQ are completed with their SOP guidelines (turnaround time, pricing guidelines, etc.). Coordinates with legal and other departments to create Amendments that are accurate and approved through the proper channels.
Position Responsibilities
- Support Sales Managers with any sales related processes including sales, customer account creation and maintenance, reporting, Salesforce.com assistance, vendor registration, quotations, IDN/GPO contract administration, etc.
- Ensures all necessary documentation for contract creation and instrumentation processing is accurate and provided in a timely matter Sales Contracts Specialist.
- Manage CPQ approval queue, follow up with approvers, and generates completed quotes.
- Assist with various levels of sales documentation (account setup, vendor forms/ registration, etc.).
- Respond to Requests for Quotations (RFQ) and Bids within 24 hours.
- Work with various departments to resolve issues, such as shipping, materials, production, finance and legal.
- Assists with pricing maintenance.
- Assist with management of salesforce.com CRM, and SAP ERP.
- Generate any requested sales reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Training and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Marketing, related field or an equivalent combination of experience or education preferred.
- Additional schooling in sales/business administration a plus.
Experience
2 year’s sales administration, customer service, sales support or related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with ERP and CRM systems.
- Basic knowledge of customer accounts
- Proactive attitude and extremely motivated
- Team player
- Flexible and skilled at multitasking
- Effective organization and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
