Position Summary:
Will work onsite/in the office in a multi-national supply chain environment. Will work closely with French headquarters to support our partners. Will work closely with America's downstream supply chain team and field customer service. The position will take on both transactional and analytical activities. Willingness to learn the attributes of downstream supply activity including: internal customer servicing; material consumptions and stock movement; subsidiary relational activities; replenishment ordering; operational improvements. Will assist in assessing analytics on inventory cycles, customer usage and new product launches. You will be responsible for making the relevant analysis to improve the planning, ordering and operational efficiency of our processes. At the end of this assignment, the intern will present his/her learnings and experiences to the department in a final presentation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supports customer services team of America's countries
- Participates in replenishment of America's countries and field customers
- Supports subsidiaries through proper inventory management.
- Support internal customer through proper inventory management
- Analyzes material consumption and recommends safety stock.
- Proficient in MS office applications, especially Excel and Power Point.
- Problem solving skills, result oriented and eager to learn.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be a current graduate or undergraduate student interested in Operations/Supply Chain Management. Business Major preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience in Tableau preferred.
