Description

BioMerieux is looking for Instrument Repair Technicians and Trainees to work with our cutting-edge medical device and help save lives! You will assess devices for problems or damage and implement solutions to ensure peak functionality. You will troubleshoot and provide technical support with a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical operations.
 
As an Instrument Repair Technician, you will need dexterity, creative troubleshooting skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and of course initiative with independent tasks.

Technicians 
Training and Education
  •  High School Diploma or GED with related on-the-job technical training and/or certifications.
  •  Associate’s degree is strongly preferred.
 
Experience
  •  2+ years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing in a related field such as electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, computer, automotive, etc. 
Skills and Abilities
  •  Ability to use specialized equipment, read instructions, maintain written records, and work from established drawings.
  •  Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
  •  Experience with soldering and testing equipment usage a plus.
  •  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
