Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in optimizing transportation, inventory management, and supply chain processes. This individual will focus on supporting daily operations, providing analytical insights, and leading and/or contributing to key supply chain projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in supply chain operations, a passion for process optimization and project management and will be a recognized team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support (50%) 
• Oversee daily transportation activities, ensuring sustainable, cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.
Track delivery performance, ensuring timely resolution of delivery issues, claims, and delays.
• Manage freight cost and monitor invoices for accuracy, identifying discrepancies and working with carriers to resolve any billing issues.
• Run freight quotes per negotiated rates with carriers, advise the best transportation option and ensure alignment with budget and cost-saving initiatives.

Support inventory manager and collaborate with the operations team to identify and resolve issues to ensure timely inventory availability.

• Analyze transportation and inventory data to support decision-making and enhance operational performance.
• Ensure adherence to established processes and maintain high service levels in day-to-day operations.

Analytical Support (30%)
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track key supply chain KPIs.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize operations.
• Assist in refining demand forecasting, transportation planning, and inventory optimization models through data analysis.

Project Leadership (20%)
• Lead and manage supply chain projects, such as process improvement initiatives, cost reduction programs.
• Implement best practices and standardize processes across the supply chain to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution.
• Drive automation and innovation initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Represent Supply Chain in cross functional projects (product launches, mergers & acquisitions…)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain analyst or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and supply chain management software.
• Knowledge of forecasting, transportation and inventory management best practices.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver results on complex initiatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to prioritize and work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with supply chain automation tools or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects in a supply chain environment.
