Position Summary:

As a Senior Manager, Line Maintenance, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a 3 shift team in our IVEK pump shop, Line Maintenance Systems and MRO Store Room.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Promote and champion a safe work environment
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that plant equipment and maintenance systems function in an efficient and safe manner
  • Develop and maintain maintenance programs
  • Ensure effective management of planned maintenance while keeping repairs to a minimum loss to production
  • Manage the maintenance budget
  • Understand and promote the maintenance department as a value added asset to the customer base (Reagents Production).  Manufacturing is the customer.
  • Ensure compliance within the department for all FDA, Company, Quality, and HSE policies.
  • Build and promote continuing education plans to grow the department
  • Champion Continuous Improvement throughout the department
  • Lead and promote excellent housekeeping

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Work with other departments as needed to achieve company goals.
  • Support company CSR programs
  • Mind set of continually improving every day
  • Order parts as needed
  • Build and plan repair jobs
  • Work closely with production scheduling
  • Facilitate and participate in TPM events
  • Work with and promote Autonomous Maintenance
  • Support onboarding of new personnel
 
Education, Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree  with 5 years previous maintenance department management experience
    • In lieu of a degree, high school diploma/GED with 9 years previous maintenance department management experience
  • 3 years supervision experience
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
  • Experience using a CMMS system to manage a maintenance department
  • Vast working knowledge of rotating equipment
  • Vast working knowledge production manufacturing equipment    
  • Planner and Scheduler experience
  • Working knowledge of the Predictive Maintenance fields
  • TPM experience required
  • Working knowledge of RBM
