Business Development Associate
Big Brand Tire & Service operates a high-volume M&A platform, executing acquisitions nationwide. The Business Development Associate is responsible for sourcing and qualifying acquisition opportunities — building the pipeline of independent tire shop owners that our Directors of Partnerships take from first conversation through close. This is a relationship-driven, outreach-focused role with uncapped earning potential.
What You'll Do
Source & Qualify Opportunities
- Identify independent tire and service shops as potential acquisition targets.
- Research shop ownership and gather accurate contact information.
- Evaluate shops against key acquisition criteria.
Drive Outbound Engagement
- Run consistent outbound call and email cadences to reach owners directly.
- Build rapport with owners and their staff to open the door to a conversation.
- Present Big Brand's acquisition opportunity and gauge seller interest.
Build the Pipeline
- Schedule introductory calls between interested owners and our Directors of Partnerships.
- Maintain accurate CRM tracking and consistent follow-up.
- Keep a steady flow of qualified leads moving into the deal pipeline.
Performance Expectations
- High-volume outbound activity (calls and emails) every day.
- Consistent flow of qualified leads and scheduled introductory calls each month.
- Accurate CRM and pipeline management.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 Days
- Complete onboarding and learn our acquisition criteria and process.
- Build an initial outreach pipeline and begin owner conversations.
- Schedule first introductory calls by month two.
6–12 Months
- Consistent lead flow and a strong, active pipeline.
- Recognized as a reliable first point of contact for prospective sellers.
- Track record of leads converting into scheduled owner conversations.
Who You Are
Required
- 1–3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or outbound prospecting; cold-calling experience preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with a high-volume, research-driven outreach role.
- Self-motivated, organized, and resilient — able to manage a long-cycle pipeline with patience and persistence.
Preferred
- Experience in M&A, franchise development, or business brokerage support roles.
- Familiarity with the tire, automotive service, or related industries.
- CRM experience (HubSpot preferred).
Compensation
- Competitive base salary: $80,000.
- On-target earnings (OTE) of $120,000+, including uncapped performance bonus/commission
- Fully remote.
