Big Ass Fans staffs a team of highly trained technicians that support our customers and installers with all of their technical needs.  This specific role is based out of our Corporate Headquarters and provides technical support via phone and email. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences in a fun and engaging environment.          

     

Responsibilities          

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical, mechanical and electrical issues via telephone and email.
  • Identify issues and help formulate appropriate resolutions escalating to management when necessary.
  • Promote and maintain positive customer relations while maintaining a positive attitude.
    Meet or exceed daily ticket volume of 15 per day.
  • Monitor and respond to customers via various means of communication logging all interactions in the CRM.
  • Communicate emerging issues, observations or trends to direct supervisor.
  • Communicate and adhere to warranty guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing product training to expand knowledge.

    

Requirements             

  • Must be able to meet weekly schedule Monday - Friday, multiple shifts available (8-5, 8:30-5:30 & 9-6)
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field is a plus but not required
    2+ years working directly with customers in either a technical sales or technical support role is preferred
  • Highly motivated and ability to exceed customer expectations via troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills are crucial
  • Experience with building automation systems and industrial electronics is a plus
    Mechanical aptitude as well as general understanding of electrical applications would provide a major advantage
  • Experience working with a CRM and/or ERP system is a plus
    Able to work in a fast-paced environment while exceeding customer expectations
