Quality Engineering Intern - (Summer Semester 2025)
Responsibilities
- Develop methods for inspection, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Understand and interpret blueprints with a basic understanding of inspection and sampling techniques.
- Perform Quality Engineering tasks using established procedures.
- Manage small-scale projects like product projects, continuous improvement projects, etc.
- Discern quality standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in engineering coursework leading to Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Docs with excellent computer skills
- Strong analytical skills with a common-sense approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and knowledge of external quality certification (ISI9001) preferred
- Highly motivated, strong team player, with good ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary
