A Big Ass Fans Bill of Materials (BOM) Analyst plays a crucial part in creating efficiencies between engineering and operations. In this role, you will be performing a variety of tasks involving the support of the engineering process as it relates to organizing, evaluating, and coordinating program requirements to ensure cross departmental alignment that drive practices to uphold our Big Ass Fans standards and meet customer requirements. 
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of engineered parts and BOM’s (Bills of Materials).
  • Develop and maintain accurate BOM’s for all product lines, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and design changes. 
  • Transfer BOM data from the Engineering Vault to the manufacturing system.
  • Utilize CRM to receive, evaluate and process product requests initiated by sales.
  • Create, update and modify product bills of material in the manufacturing system, verifying the accuracy and integrity of each data card. 
  • Provide assistance with implementation and issuance of Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
  • Create, modify, and submit spreadsheets as needed to support mass system updates.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure accurate and thorough data is loaded into the MRP system.
  • Maintain the Entry Error Log and provide monthly reporting outputs.
  • Provide support for cross - functional teams, including sales operations and commercial business units, to support product simplification efforts related to SKU set up and maintenance.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiently reconcile part and BOM discrepancies for both manufactured and purchased components. 
 
Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant working experience
  • Organized, detail oriented, with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and learn concepts quickly
  • Google and Microsoft Office Suite skills required; proficiency with Excel, preferred
  • MRP experience required (Epicor, SAP, Salesforce, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
