As the Senior Director of Marketing at Big Ass Fans, you have the chance to elevate the leading brand in industrial and commercial fans to new heights. In this role, you will guide the strategic development and execution of Big Ass marketing initiatives within the Industrial segment. This includes overseeing communications, brand development, messaging and content, public relations, and marketing operations for the entire range of BAF industrial products. You will develop and lead a team dedicated to crafting market-specific programs and campaigns, with a focus on enhancing brand positioning, executing effective go-to-market strategies, and achieving ambitious growth targets in the industrial sector. As a visionary and agent of change, the Senior Director of Marketing plays a crucial role in shaping experiences, fostering relationships, and significantly contributing to our growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop effective go-to marketing strategies and plans for new and existing products, systems, programs, and services.
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration. Effectively lead the B2B marketing team, providing guidance and mentorship to drive results.
- Direct the development and execution of an integrated digital marketing strategy that drives customer engagement and lead-nurturing
- Conceptualize and execute on promotional campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels.
- Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide sales support.
- Collaborate with social media specialists to develop a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Direct market/customer research, forecasting, and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and translate results into actionable insights for the business team.
- Analyze customer and market insights, consumer trends, marketing analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
- Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
- Partner with web teams to design, test, and evolve lead-nurturing tactics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or relevant discipline; MBA is a plus
- 10+ years in marketing leadership, creating and driving strategies, and motivating teams
- Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media strategy
- Knowledge of the financial components of product and marketing management, including product profit contributions, P&L statements, budgets, and other financial metrics
- Prior experience in B2B marketing preferred
