Bethany is seeking a talented senior health care leader to be the Care Services Manager for Bethany Harvest Hills (NE Calgary)
Under the leadership of the Site Administrator, the Care Services Manager (CSM) is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the implementation of Bethany’s strategic and business plans in alignment with our Vision and Mission of “Creating Caring Communities.” This role oversees, coordinates, and participates in the delivery of Care Services, directing and supervising staff to ensure clinical excellence and high-quality resident care.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Performance Measures
SERVICE EXCELLENCE
• Ensure a resident-focused care environment, promoting dignity, safety, and quality of life.
• Drive excellence in customer service, addressing resident and family concerns with professionalism.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
TEAMWORK
• Coordinate interdisciplinary services, ensuring seamless collaboration across care teams.
• Oversee team performance, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
LEADERSHIP
• Model Bethany’s vision and values, championing quality care and a positive work culture.
• Lead and support direct reports, ensuring the success and engagement of the care team.
• Manage expenses within the approved budget, optimizing resources while maintaining high standards.

WHAT YOU BRING
Education
• A bachelor’s degree in nursing, and/or a health-related degree.
• Active practice permit in good standing with CRNA or CRPNA required
• Current CPR
Education

Additional Experience & Skills
• At least 3 years’ experience in a progressive leadership role.
• Minimum of five years’ nursing experience in Continuing Care.
• Minimum of two years’ management experience within a unionized environment.
• Gerontology experience is an asset
• Knowledge of RAI/MDS 2.0 tool, computer skills and electronic documentation is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and engage large multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong ability to work in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
• Innovative leadership with excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer software and highly organized.
• Strong sense of accountability, integrity, and handling high-profile responsibilities.
• Ability to travel between sites as required.
