Sales Team at Bernick’s! If you are passionate about our portfolio of beverage products and have experience in Sales, this is a GREAT opportunity for you.  We are looking for a “Go-Getter” to join our team in Duluth, MN or Superior, WI and be an expert on our brands.

ABOUT A BRAND MANAGER - BEER: “Typical day” “What you’re getting into”

Brand Managers forecast, manage, develop, and implement marketing strategies to maximize sales of 
the brands we represent. Brand Managers are responsible for analyzing brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace to develop strategies for the brands based on research and analysis. 

While working with other members of Bernick’s Sales Team, Brand Managers identify and implement appropriate sales strategies to maximize volume and margin while tracking product inventory to ensure program goals are obtainable and inventory levels meet company standards.  Brand Managers also work directly with suppliers to implement programs for new and existing brands for merchandising, pricing, positioning, events, and more!

Brand Managers:

  • Become the expert resource for all things with brands they are responsible for
  • Analyze, research, and forecasts brand success in volume, margin, and distribution goals
  • Effectively communicates with Team Members and suppliers on brand goals and strategies
  • Develops strategies that promote long term success of existing brands, while working to uncover demands and grow new brands

 YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT MATCH IF YOU:

  • Live in Duluth, MN or Superior, WI area
  • Minimum 2-5 years Sales experience required
  • Experience working with external suppliers preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, and/or related field

 Basic Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s License, driving record which meet Bernick’s standard
  • Ability to regularly walk, stand, sit, lift and move product weighing 50 pounds

HOURS: Full-time

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • Hours may vary with the benefits and challenges that come with the beverage industry (occasional evenings/weekends depending on events)

Base Compensation:
$60K-$70K
 
Potential Other Compensation (based on position eligibility):
Various bonuses, commissions, incentive pay, mileage reimbursement, etc.
