Social Media and Events Intern: “Overview - what you’re getting into”
We’re looking for a social media Intern to help us grow our brands and culture! You will be responsible for creating and sharing content that promotes our brands and drives engagement with our target audiences. You will need to be creative, strategic, and have a strong understanding of the social media platforms and landscape. You may also represent and promote Bernick’s and the brands Bernick’s distributes by attending local events and samplings.
Strong Candidates are able to:
- Develop and maintain social media brand presence and corresponding content, including video and photo content.
- Maintain consistent communication, build brand awareness, and develop relationships with relevant people.
- Evaluate effectiveness and optimize campaign performance; report out as requested.
- Collaborate with Marketing to set editorial calendar and scheduling requirements, including monthly publishing schedule.
- Grow following and create shareable content for company pages, accounts, and social media tools.
- Attend events as requested to sample and promote Bernick’s beverage brands to consumers. Promote beverage attributes, educate consumers, and share related programming if applicable.
- Work with and alongside cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, HR, etc.)
YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT MATCH IF YOU:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity, friendliness & professionalism
- Are self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Can build relationships with consumers and customers
- Have excellent organization, communication, and social media skills
- Are proficient in the Microsoft business tools including Outlook, Word, Power Point & Excel
HOURS: Part Time / Seasonal
- 10-30 hours / week (varies based on needs of the organization & availability of candidate)
- Some evenings and weekends may be required
- January through May (with possible extension if mutually agreed upon)
- Some travel within MN & WI may be required
- This is a paid internship
