The first step in becoming a Benihana Chef is to apply for a position online. Applicants who meet our desired requirements, will then meet face to face to interview.
This positon isn’t for the faint of heart, it requires dedication, love and respect for tradition and scratch cooking as well as the ability to interact and entertain guests.

Is Training Provided?

Our state of the art training isn’t your average restaurant cook training. We elevate our chef’s talents by providing them with training on advanced knife skills, scratch cooking mastery and showmanship.

Ultimately, our chefs wear more than a hat – they earn a coveted red Benihana Teppan hat.

We offer advanced chef training that would “wow” any culinary professional. In addition to the 5-week training program, we also provide ongoing chef workshops to continue to enhance your skillset and knowledge. We will set you up for success to help us continue to Create Great Guest Memories!
