Position Summary:

 

The Creative & Production Manager is responsible for supporting the Creative Director in developing and managing the organization’s menu updates, design and maintain the graphic execution of all marketing communication materials for all brands. Ensure timely and effective practices are in place for project management. This position reports to the Creative Director.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for all menu updates including management of menu database, menu layout, design and assist with production, proofing, distribution and delivery of menus to 100+ restaurants.
  • Assist in creating, updating and maintaining brand assets including but not limited to brand style guides, logos, promotional collateral, ads, photography library and all menu files
  • Provide support in managing print and digital production needs, from creative development to identifying optimum resources, production calendars, fulfillment of materials and inventory management
  • Prioritizes workflow and communicates with marketing team daily
  • Assist in managing website development and maintenance
  • Work cross functionally to collaborate with internal customers on projects as needed (HR, Real Estate, Training, Operations, Executive)
  • Work collaboratively with external marketing agencies
  • Manages the video monitor for all brands including campaigns, assets update and new creative
  • Support in managing special projects as requested
  • Additional duties may be assigned

 

Skills/Knowledge:

 

  • Strong proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and other graphic software is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using PC.
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in graphic design, design software, conventional and computerized graphic design, desktop publications, and similar graphic presentation work
  • Basic knowledge in WordPress, HTML and Adobe After Effects.
  • Familiarity of principals, practices, materials, and techniques of desktop publishing and basic graphic layout, design concepts, fundamentals of printing processes, composition and paste-up processes.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with focus on efficient execution while balancing big-picture thinking.
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills, with a keen eye for detail, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Must exhibit verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong capability to work efficiently and independently to maintain high quality in a high-volume department.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, establish workload priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative, but works well in-group environment.
  • Work independently in the absence of supervision; communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

 

 

Education/Experience:

 

BA/BS in related field with five to ten years in related experience.

Work Environment:

 

General office environment.  Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

 

Travel Requirements:

 

Negligible required.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Work is generally sedentary in nature, exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including human body. Walking and standing but may be required, up to 15% of the time.
