Benefitfocus is looking for a CRM and Sales Automation Manager to join our Charleston, SC based Sales Operations team.  This role will not only be responsible for managing and developing solutions for the Salesforce.com CRM platform, but will also analyze Sales data and provide key insights to support the Benefitfocus Sales organization. The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for assessing diverse sets of data across functions; identifying key findings that will drive success and revenue; and working cross-functionally to inform and operationalize these findings. The Sales Operations Analyst will also manage the operations of other systems that support sales functions including Proposal Management (Loopio), Inside Sales leaderboard (Ambition) and Sales Enablement content management (Seismic).  This role will collaborate frequently with the sales leaders for requirements definition for enhancements and new solutions. They also work very closely with the IT department to complete development, implementation and enhancement projects for the sales systems. This role requires experience with sales and marketing processes, including account, opportunity, lead/demand generation and pipeline management. The ideal candidate will have experience in business analytics and project and/or program management. Agile or SAFe methodology experience is a plus. Salesforce.com Administrator certification is also a plus.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Act as the solution expert to achieve the optimal use of the Benefitfocus sales technology stack
  • Act as subject matter expert to advise on new solutions to solve business problems
  • Develop and continuously improve analytics dashboards to equip sales teams based on their needs
  • Partner with strategic Sales teams to prep for engagements. Understanding the opportunity to use data insights to drive success
  • Continually seek to streamline sales team processes through automation
  • Administer the systems in partnership with IT (performance monitoring, updates, patches, etc)
  • Aggregate and analyze data requirements to support broader organizational needs
  • Own license management and vendor relationships
  • Provide some help desk-type and triage support on all systems for the users
  • Data governance owner for data in the supported systems (accounts, contacts, etc) 
  • Provide end user training support for all sales systems for new system launches and changes (new releases) to existing systems
  • Build reports and dashboards within the system for leadership utilization

 



Requirements:

 

  • Salesforce.com configuration and administration expertise (Service and/or Service Cloud)
  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce.com
  • 5+ years of reporting and analytics experience within a sales, marketing or customer service role
  • Prior experience in translating business requirements into technical user stories
  • Exceptional work ethic and interpersonal skills
  • Superior verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • Prior experience in project/program management
  • Prior experience in vendor management
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

 

  • Salesforce.com Administrator certification is a plus
  • Agile or SAFe certification is a plus
