Position Overview:
Eleven Mortgage holds growth, efficiency and effectiveness as pillars of our Excellence core value. The Sr. Manager of Wholesale Operations ensures this excellence while overseeing the wholesale operations teams, to include staffing, pipeline management, and ensuring compliance.  
 
Ideal candidates for this position will have strong leadership skills with the ability to execute through others, knowledge of the wholesale mortgage loan process, and the ability to drive excellence through systemic thinking.
 
Essential Functions of the Role:
  • Oversee the wholesale operations teams, including setting goals, measuring performance, and managing pipelines and workflows.
  • Oversee the fulfillment relationship and pipeline management for client accounts to ensure communication, escalations, reporting, and proper resource allocations occur.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze reports for production and staffing of the managed departments.
  • Manage the implementation of operational projects and work with IT on the system requirements needed for projects.
  • Partner with wholesale executives, sales, operational, compliance and underwriting leadership to ensure efficiencies and compliance, as well as create strategic initiatives for the wholesale teams.
  • Partner with other divisions when a change to an operational process from a regulation or a broad system update is needed.
  • Create checklists, policies, and procedural documents to outline processes.
  • Ensure adhere at all times to company policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
  • Five years of wholesale and retail mortgage loan experience required.
  • Three years of supervisory or management experience required.
  • Experience with Encompass preferred.

 

Education / Licensing Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
 
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
  • Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
  • Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
  • Requires sitting, bending.
  • Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
  • Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
  • Minimal travel <5%.
