Position Overview:
By executing Eleven Mortgage’s pricing strategies, the Lock Desk Specialist supports Eleven Mortgage’s success. The Lock Desk Specialist works closely with our loan originators in regard to locks, relocks, extensions, and providing day-to-day assistance. This position is also responsible for assisting with the creation and distribution of daily rate sheets.
Ideal candidates for this position are knowledgeable about rate sheets and pricing systems, are detail-oriented, and able to work across organizational boundaries.
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Ensure loans are locked and registered in conformity with stated policies and procedures.
- Ensure loan originators understand the pricing, exception, and lock policies and procedures.
- Handle daily operation of the lock desk, assisting loan originators with non-routine pricing queries.
- Support distribution of rate sheets.
- Identify process and workflow improvement opportunities and communicate to senior management.
- Prepare reports and research projects, as assigned.
- Represent Secondary Marketing with all system implementation, upgrade, and maintenance discussions.
- Ensure daily pricing adjustments and other relevant information is accurately loaded in the pricing engine.
- Investigate and correct pricing errors.
- Other duties, as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of secondary marketing or related experience preferred.
- Retail mortgage experience preferred.
- Experience with Encompass preferred.
Education/Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment.
- Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
- Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
- Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires sitting, bending.
- Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
- Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
- Minimal travel <5%.
