Position Overview:
Benchmark believes having a positive attitude uplifts everyone around you. This is especially important for our HR Coordinator as they serve as a point of contact for employee questions. The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of HR processes with an emphasis on ticket management and HR system administration.

Essential Functions of the Role:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions through the HR ticketing system, troubleshooting basic items and escalating complex issues.  
  • Maintain employee information in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) including position, status, and name changes.
  • Monitor Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license changes and ensure all required agreements are executed.
  • Prepare and send regularly scheduled reporting for other departments.
  • Process and route all department mail via Zendesk.
  • Assist with processing employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Coordinate Company unemployment responses.
  • Monitor expiring documents related to the I-9 and complete reverifications as required.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees.
  • Coordinate and track compliance projects, such as Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR’s), performance reviews, and labor law postings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
  • Two years of HR experience required.
  • Prior HR experience preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
 
Education/Licensing Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  
 
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
  • Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
  • Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
  • Requires sitting, bending.
  • Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
  • Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
  • Minimal travel <5%.
