Position Overview:
Benchmark is founded on positive relationships and the Administrative Assistant is imperative in establishing and maintaining those relationships with employees, clients, and customers. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the branch by performing administrative, record keeping, and general day-to-day office duties.
 
Ideal candidates for this position have a strong service-oriented mindset and demonstrate strong organizational and administrative skills.
 
Essential Functions of the Role:

 

  • Screen and respond to incoming phone calls and emails from customers.
  • Act as the shipping and receiving department for the branch.
  • Maintain reception area, supplies, and housekeeping of office facilities.
  • Organize and schedule appointments.
  • Assist with filing, basic reporting, and in presentation and meeting material preparation.
  • Assist with the loan process and conduct customer satisfaction communication as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
  • One to two years office administration required.
 
Education/Licensing Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
 
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
  • Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
  • Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
  • Requires sitting, bending.
  • Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
  • Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
  • Minimal travel <5%.
