Per Diem Residential Aide – Beckley, WV

Our entire staff is committed to ensuring that every patient in our program is successful in recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with Activities of Daily Living by serving meals and feeding patients as needed/directed; offering fresh water and snacks.
- Follows nurse (RN) instructions to perform procedures
- Follows Physician Instructions to perform procedures
- Complies with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information.
- Follows all policies and procedures to maintain a safe inpatient/outpatient setting.
- Participates in all training and continuing education. Maintains licensure to meet federal, state, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant or higher
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to actively look for ways to help people.
- 2 years’ experience in addiction is preferred, otherwise additional training may be required prior to start date.
- Concern for others — Job requires being sensitive to others' needs and feelings and being understanding and helpful on the job.

- Self-Control — Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.

- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
