Barracuda Networks is looking to recruit a leader for our worldwide partner marketplace sales to join our worldwide partner organization, as we continue to grow and expand our team.      
      
We are looking for a multi-talented individual, who can develop and extend our world-class marketplace go to market   As the WW Partner Marketplace Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for designing, launching, and managing our SaaS products and services on various online cloud marketplaces including the hyperscaler, distribution, Telco/ISP, master agent, and industry specific B2B marketplaces. You will work closely with our product, sales, marketing, and systems teams to ensure that our offerings are aligned with the marketplace requirements, partner needs, and customer needs. You will also monitor and analyze the performance and feedback of our products and services on the cloud marketplaces and provide insights and recommendations for improvement. The role will initially be varied, with responsibilities that include:      
  • Work with our business systems teams to ensure requirements are documented and met to further integrate our back office with marketplace middleware (Cloud Blue, AppDirect)
  • Lead the planning and execution of successful product listings within digital commerce marketplaces via cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage our digital commerce product catalog including listings, pricing, and availability across target marketplaces, pricing, and availability within Cloud Blue ensuring digital commerce listings are transactable on selected marketplaces.
  • Create and execute of channel programs and promotions within the digital commerce marketplace ecosystem; report on results and make recommendations to optimize or discontinue.
  • Work with our global partner ecosystems teams and field channel teams to plan, coordinate and launch our offering within distribution marketplaces.
  • Enable field channel teams to maximize local execution of Barracuda’s digital commerce marketplace strategy.
  • Act as the feedback conduit from the field to ensure we are continually optimizing and adapting our strategy

What you will be working on

Reporting to the VP Worldwide Partner Ecosystems, lead the business requirements, selection and deployment of appropriate resources, processes, practices, content, and tools to support Barracuda’s SaaS products across various private and commercial marketplaces.  The role will be the primarily liaison between the channel sales and marketing organization and our technical and business systems teams to translate commercial and channels sales needs into marketplace functionality requirements.       
  • Manage the design, development, implementation, and ongoing execution of multiple marketplace enablement initiatives to improve sales productivity and efficiency.
  • Metric-driven approach to measure the current productivity and to set and monitor ongoing progress towards overall sales target goals.
  • Develop a strategy and roadmap for marketplace enablement aligned with Company and Sales goals and initiatives.
  • Determine gaps in current sales processes and evaluate systems and tools needed to improve sales performance.
  • Oversee and support tools and process implementation to ensure adoption. Identify use cases that will be required for channels and different marketplaces and supply chain networks.
  • Partner and work with Marketing and Product teams to ensure key enablement requirements are included in new product launch programs, with the right content developed to ensure worldwide sales enablement programs can support these launches.
  • Responsible for Barracuda’s category/listing strategy to publish and maintain our SKUs on the cloud marketplaces, ensuring that they are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with the marketplace policies and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance and feedback of our products and services on the cloud marketplaces, using tools such as Google Analytics1, Sharetribe2, Azure Monitor3, or Grafana4. Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on data-driven analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues related to the integration and connectivity between our systems and the marketplaces.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships with the marketplace providers and resellers and negotiate contracts and terms of service.
  • Provide input into Barracuda’s product strategy and pricing/packaging based on market and customer research findings, industry analyst interactions, and competitive findings.
  • Bring new features to market by leading the messaging, launch strategy, timelines, and distribution vehicles (including in-app, email, website, video, blog, etc) to ensure market coverage occurs in a consistent and orchestrated fashion.
  • Educate the market about Barracuda’s offerings by creating compelling content across all Barracuda marketing-owned assets and aligning with the continuous releases of product.
  • Responsible for being the central resource to coordinate our efforts cross-functionally within the company to ensure we are prepared and ready for our various marketplace launches.

California only. The anticipated salary range for this role is $150,000 to $194,000.  Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
