Envision yourself at Barracuda

The HR Operations Generalist is an execution-focused individual contributor delivering day-to-day HR operations support within the Global HR Service Center (AskHR) — covering onboarding, ticket resolution, knowledge maintenance, and audit support. This hands-on, delivery-oriented role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to service standards.

What you'll be working on

  • Resolve HR tickets across the employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, job changes, leaves, terminations) and execute Workday data transactions accurately, in line with documented processes and SLAs.
  • Partner with HR Operations and HRIS to troubleshoot issues and maintain high-quality, compliant employee support.
  • Maintain and update HR knowledge articles and process documentation for accuracy, clarity, and policy alignment, flagging outdated or unclear content for review.
  • Track tasks, timelines, and dependencies for HR Operations projects and execute assigned work on time per defined plans.
  • Coordinate with HR Operations, HRIS, and cross-functional partners to gather inputs, complete deliverables, and maintain status documentation.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for weekly US new hire orientation, including preparing onboarding materials and ensuring complete, accurate new hire data in Workday.
  • Support internal and external HR audits by gathering documentation and evidence, maintaining audit-ready records, and following established controls; identify and escalate recurring issues or process gaps and help execute process improvement initiatives.

What you bring to the role

  • 2+ years in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or a related HR role, including hands-on ticket/inquiry support.
  • Experience supporting HR audits, compliance, or documentation efforts.
  • Working knowledge of Workday.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to execute defined processes independently and consistently.
  • Customer-focused mindset committed to reliable service delivery.
