We are seeking a passionate and hardworking Senior Software Development Engineer in Test who can join our cross functional agile team. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative cloud security products that help protect our customers’ sensitive information. You will partner closely with Product and Development teams to understand and implement critical quality standards. Your contributions will help our team quickly deliver reliable and effective products to our customers.
Tech Stack:
  • JavaScript (Typescript)/Python/Go.
  • AWS Cloud and AWS Services (EKS, EC2, ALB, Lambda, S3, SQS).
  • NestJS, NodeJS, and React Frameworks.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: GitHub, GitHub Actions.
  • Source code management with Git.
  • SQL & No-SQL data stores (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Databricks).
  • Linux, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • JIRA & Confluence
  • Mabl, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, Postman, TestRail, and other test case management platforms.
Nice to haves:
  • Strong familiarity with email and its associated protocols (primarily SMTP).
  • Knowledge on hosted email and directory services like Microsoft 365/Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and LDAP.
  • Security domain knowledge/experience.
  • Databricks.
  • Non-functional test automation.
What you’ll be working on:
  • Build manual and automated test plans from business requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks to capture Functional and Non-Functional use cases.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Come up with timelines and work breakdowns for releases and manage a QA CI/CD Pipeline.
  • Understand impact of requirements and provide feedback to product managers and other stakeholders.
  • Writing code – Ruby, Python, Bash.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Lead troubleshooting in pre-production environments before features go live.
  • Domain expertise in external product integrations/dependencies.
  • Identify and document defects and work closely with development teams to ensure a timely resolution of issues.
What you bring to the role
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, and automation.
  • Experience with AWS including knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Strong writing, coding, design, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in the full project testing life cycle including test case creation, script development, manual and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with test automation tooling like Mabl (certified is a plus), Cucumber, and Postman.
  • Experience in relational and non-relational databases.
  • Strong programming background in JavaScript/Ruby/Python/Bash.
  • Common testing practices in a highly agile project environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Guide junior SDETs to succeed in their journey.
  • Experience in manual testing & performance testing, analyzing test logs, creating test reports, and providing progress on a regular basis.
  • Experience with Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
