In this role, you’ll be guiding and supporting an Agile methodology across scrum teams that support and enhance solutions across value streams. You will lead and facilitate program level ceremonies that support the delivery to increase business value. From an Agile perspective, your core responsibilities will be enabling teams to ensure that goals, scope, and budget are met by the teams. You will improve Agile performance by identifying resolution of program impediments and being a change agent with continuous improvement. You will foster an environment where the team can be effective, addressing any team dynamics. You will collaborate with multiple partners across the enterprise, work across other areas within the CIO org, as well as with our internal customers. 
 
You will support team members through critical thinking, help to establish an Agile center of excellence through best practices, tooling, metrics, and templates, and ensure best-in-class collaboration. 
 
This is a cross-functional role with matrixed reporting relationships. 
 
What you’ll be working on 
 
Act as the Senior Agile Delivery Specialist for the BOS (Barracuda Order System)/Middleware workstream: Manages end to end Agile ceremonies in support of their workstream(s).  Including ticket intake, grooming, movement across the Board, daily standups, reporting, escalations, and overall work management.  The Agile Delivery Specialist ensures that workflows through the documented process, following governance and standards throughout.  The Agile Delivery Specialist monitors and resolves blockers, assigns resources, and maintains velocity.  The Agile Delivery Specialist escalates when needed and ensures all deadlines and cutoffs are consistently enforced. 
 
  • Leader to facilitate program level processes and execution, escalates impediments, manages risks, and helps drive program-level continuous improvement
  • Facilitates implementation readiness by preparing the vision and backlogs and facilitates the go-live events
  • Leads the development, stewardship, and improvement of Agile metrics & tooling to enable highly functioning and performant teams (e.g., estimation & pointing, tracking risks, burndowns, capacity/velocity, value stewardship, etc. with associated dashboarding) 
  • Leads lean-Agile transformation, coaching leaders, teams, and Agile Delivery Specialists in new processes and mindsets
  • Manages and optimizes flow of value through the program 
  • Drives continuous improvement. Examples of program-level responsibilities include ownership of Agile metrics, epic-level rolling plan stewardship, portfolio health monitoring, work orchestration, program increment ceremonies, innovation & planning strategies, and blocker removal 
  • Responsible for ensuring that the committed to sprint backlog is completed
What you bring to the role
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent engineering skillset, training, or technical work experience
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a senior Scrum Master, release train engineer, or similar role A mindset for continuous process improvement, driven by a focus on delivering value through efficiency
  • Ability to influence effectively with and without formal authority Ability to establish OKRs (Objective Key Results) and instill metrics/standards that ensure the workstreams run efficiently 
  • Assist in the administration and management of 3rd party resources 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven success working a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, with a record of accomplishment of measurable business impact 
  • Capability to demonstrate critical thinking and proven record of accomplishment of positive change
  • Exceptional understanding of Agile methodology, scrum, SAFe, and Agile tools  
  • Strong competency in the Atlassian tool suite
  • SAFe Agilist and/or SAFe Agile Delivery Specialist (CSM) Certification 
  • Technical knowledge and demonstrated experience with IPAAS

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $117,000-$130,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
