We are looking for an Account Executive (SMB / Commercial) to join our ANZ Sales team. This is a channel-only role (MSP / reseller), built for high-velocity execution and strong outbound pipeline generation.
Our customers are typically resource constrained — they face many of the same cyber resilience and compliance challenges as enterprises, but without the headcount, specialised skills, or budgets to respond. Barracuda’s strength is delivering comprehensive cyber resilience in a platform that is easy to buy, deploy, and use. You will help customers protect their business while enabling our partners to deliver ongoing value.
Success in this role comes from ownership, accountability and trust, paired with disciplined territory execution, partner co-selling, and a modern tool-enabled sales operating rhythm.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Own and grow a defined ANZ SMB/commercial territory through a repeatable, high-velocity sales motion
  • Generate pipeline through disciplined outbound prospecting (table stakes), partner co-sell motions, and improving inbound/marketing flow
  • Run end-to-end sales cycles: qualification, discovery, stakeholder alignment, value-based proposals, negotiation, and close
  • Execute in a channel-only model: collaborate with MSPs/resellers (and internal channel teams) to drive adoption, deal progression, and customer outcomes
  • Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations across the Barracuda portfolio, anchored in customer outcomes (simplicity, resilience, and compliance)
  • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy in Salesforce and related sales tools
  • Build long-term, high-trust relationships with customers and partners to drive renewals, expansion, and advocacy
  • Stay current on the ANZ cyber landscape and regulatory expectations relevant to the SMB/commercial segment

What You Bring to the Role

  • 3–6+ years’ experience in B2B technology or cybersecurity sales, ideally in a high-velocity SMB/commercial environment
  • Outbound is table stakes: disciplined, repeatable prospecting with adherence to cadences, activity targets, and follow-up rigour to consistently generate pipeline
  • Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying role with multiple opportunities in flight (pace, prioritisation, and deal progression)
  • Channel confidence: experience co-selling with MSPs/resellers and driving leverage through partners (not using them as order-takers)
  • Strong consultative selling, communication and presentation skills — able to simplify complex topics for time-poor IT and business leaders
  • High ownership and accountability: you treat your territory like a business and bring grit when conditions aren’t perfect
  • Customer-first, high trust, high empathy: you build champions and durable relationships while still driving commercial outcomes
  • Tool-enabled and curious: hands-on experience using modern sales tools to amplify effectiveness — including Salesforce (SFDC), sales engagement/cadence tools, forecasting and analytics dashboards, and GenAI assistants — to move faster, stay organised, and execute consistently
