What you’ll be working on
  • Payment Processing: Execute regular payment runs to ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, suppliers, and employees.
  • Accounts Payable (A/P): Manage the Purchase Order (PO) process and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate procurement operations.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Expense Posting: Accurately record expenses while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
 
  • Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain and update financial records, including bank and account reconciliations, to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Compliance: Stay informed about relevant tax regulations and ensure that all financial activities adhere to local standards.
  • Communication with tax authorities (Finanzamt), e.g. VAT return filing
  • Occasional travel to the EMEA offices to collaborate with the broader EMEA finance team.
  • Audit Assistance: Collaborate with external auditors, HR, and tax advisors to facilitate the auditing process.
What you bring to the role
  • Ideally between 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (UGB/GAAP), financial reporting, and expense management; familiarity with international accounting standards is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in expense accounting
  • Proficiency in German and Business English.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ambitious and motivated to take on additional responsibilities as the organization grows

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience, and qualifications. Salaries must meet and generally exceed the CBA level for this position of €42.000,00.
