The main focus of the role is to plan, develop, execute and measure all local channel marketing efforts, including to-partner, through-partner and for-partner activities aligned to the organization’s channel priorities and sales objectives. The role partners with local sales and central demand marketing functions (e.g. communications and content team, campaign teams, marketing operations) to create and deliver channel marketing plans that deliver maximum impact through a combination of tailored global and new market–specific activities.

What you’ll be working on

  • Create channel marketing plans to support channel sales achieve pipeline goals
  • Build co-marketing plans with designated partners in support of revenue targets in line with local marketing plans
  • Manage, administer, measure and report on local channel budgets and co-marketing funds (e.g. market development funds [MDF], co-op funds, launch funds) to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Understand local partner requirements for program localization and local execution support
  • Engage proactively with global and regional channel marketing teams to review plans, share local requirements and provide feedback
  • Localize centrally created channel marketing programs for local deployment
  • Support collection and analysis of indirect buyer insights and audience segmentation
  • Conduct partner marketing reviews and assessments
  • Measure, analyze and report on local channel marketing pipeline-building activities to determine their contribution to pipeline health and evaluate marketing effectiveness/ROI Establish and track lead generation metrics with local partners
  • Promote the adoption of lead management processes with local partners
  • Work with partners to deliver high-quality, localized marketing activities that drive targeted demand generation
  • Develop and manage local partner engagement activities (e.g. partner events, local launch execution, to-partner communications, partner training, partner webinars)
  • Support local channel sales efforts to recruit partners that match local requirements
  • Actively seek and create local joint customer success stories to demonstrate best practices and strong partner relationships
  • Report to DACH Marketing Manager

 

What you bring to the role

  • 5+ years of marketing technology and channel marketing experience; preferably B2B SaaS
  • Strong consultative marketing approaches that effectively engage with channel sales and central marketing teams
  • In-person and virtual presentation skills
  • Planning/project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Process oriented
  • Understanding of working with data and analytics
  • Influencing skills at all internal levels#
  • Passionate about working in a fast growing IT-Security Business
  • Knowledge of the German Channel Partner Landscape
