We are looking for a Director of Revenue to join our team! 

As the Director of Revenue, you will take the lead on and be a subject matter expert for the revenue process, including sales contract review and appropriate revenue recognition. You will work cross-functionally with groups outside of Finance and be an educator to others on systems, policies and accounting requirements for revenue compliance. 

What you’ll be working on

  • Manage month-end and quarter-end revenue close process including reviewing journal entries, Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations, fluctuation and trend analyses and timely preparation of financial reporting deliverables.
  • Provide strategy and vision around the revenue accounting processes & system implementations.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and strategy on technical revenue recognition matters.
  • Provide counsel to team members and other cross functional teams on how to apply revenue recognition guidelines for SaaS and related offerings.
  • Develop and enhance processes and controls for Quote to Cash and establish cadence for documentation and continuous improvement reviews.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Sales to improve visibility to revenue recognition issues or changes that impact forecast precision.
  • Contribute to the development of accounting solutions for enterprise projects, new product offerings and process simplification and improvements.


What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance required. CPA strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience within revenue operations and accounting organizations
  •  ~5 years in leadership or management positions in an accounting organization
  • Strong software and SaaS revenue recognition knowledge in the areas of ASC 606, and related revenue recognition pronouncements under US GAAP
  • Experience with Netsuite and SalesForce
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently, prioritize competing workloads, and manage the deliverables from business partners and team members
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with and influence management and contributors at all levels of the organization and across functions. Strong leadership and influencing skills
