What you’ll be working on
  • Comprehending business requirement documents and user stories, with a purpose of creating functional specifications and system design specifications
  • Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis
  • Collaborating with the business systems operations team to translate business requirements into system functionality requirements
  • Managing project work, enhancements, and fixes, from the request and requirements stage through build, validate, and deployment – ensuring that there are few revisions needed along the way because the needs analysis was conducted thoroughly
  • Providing strategic technical insight with respect to the CPQ tool
  • Serving as a technical adviser for out of the box Salesforce.com CPQ features and functions
  • Supporting the remaining Salesforce CPQ implementation roadmap from design to deployment, user adoption, and ongoing improvements and system administration
  • Managing the relationship with key business stakeholders to help define and meet business priorities
  • Define Product, bundle and Price configuration including product Price rule
  • Comprehend and uphold release management best practices – related to internal release management and product functionality upgrades coming from the vendor
  • Coordinate and communicate process and system changes impact with cross-functional teams
  • Provide sufficient technical details about the configuration that will enable user acceptance testing to be thorough and comprehensive

What you bring to the role 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related discipline (Masters preferred)
  • 10+ years of hands-on roles in the areas of Quote to Cash, from business requirements assessment to solutions as well as coordinating/leading solution design, development/configuration, and deployment across multi-dimensional teams
  • 4+ years of Salesforce CPQ/Steelbricks Experience with working on custom product and price rule and have used QCP
  • Experience on one or more end to end CPQ architect and implementation
  • Has worked on Salesforce.com platform, including Salesforce CPQ, Sales cloud, Service cloud, APEX and/or VisualForce
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ capabilities, best practices and limitations and the ability to clearly communicate those to key stakeholders
  • Experience in back-end development of Salesforce including but not limited to design of data models, a strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL, and usage of web technologies
  • Understanding of key salesforce.com architectural concepts (API, governor limit, force.com platform, Test coverage, Apex, Visual Force, Workflow, Process Builder, Triggers etc) and how they influence design.
