Consumables Sourcing Specialist
Description
At Levata, we are seeking a Consumables Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for assisting the overall Sales organization with sourcing and quoting initiatives as well as approval processes for outgoing consumables orders. The Consumables Sourcing Specialist will report directly to the Sourcing and Applications Manager – Consumables.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage an approval queue and workflow for Consumables orders in ERP system
- Assist with and facilitate workload in the Consumables Sourcing/Quoting Queue including, but not limited to, LTL Quotes, Airtrack availability, and other detailed information requests
- Review alternative items and provide comparable items to Sales Representatives and customers
- Support Sales Representatives with quotes, product recommendations and stock questions
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change within the facility, adapt to the growing business, and stay focused on the customer experience
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years’ experience in a purchasing, sales support, customer service, or similar role
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Critical thinking and process driven
