Levata is a US-based, global IT services and technology distributor specializing in
barcoding, RFID, and related solutions. As part of our One Levata global consolidation  
initiative, we unify multiple business units onto a single NetSuite ERP/CRM platform. W
are seeking a Director of NetSuite Practice to lead this transformation and scale NetSuite  
across our global footprint.  

This individual will be responsible for building a modern, high-performance ERP/CRM  
environment that simplifies operations, reduces complexity, and maximizes system value.  
The role demands both strategic vision and hands-on delivery, with a strong focus on  
streamlining business processes, optimizing system performance, and accelerating M&A  
integrations.  

The position is based at our Chicago headquarters and requires on-site three days per  
week for team collaboration, leadership alignment, and cross-functional engagement.  
Key Responsibilities  

  • Drive ERP/CRM Simplification: Lead efforts to simplify business processes across Finance, Sales, Operations, and E-commerce by rethinking legacy workflows, eliminating manual steps, and aligning with NetSuite-native functionality.  
  • ERP Optimization & Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize NetSuite performance, including page load times, workflow efficiency, data integrity, and middleware syncs. Implement scalable best practices and drive continuous improvement.  
  • System Consolidation & Standardization: Execute the One Levata strategy by consolidating all ERP/CRM systems into a global NetSuite instance. Harmonize data structures, process flows, and configuration standards across regions.  
  • Hands-On Leadership: Manage a cross-regional ERP/CRM team (up to 5 direct reports), including staff-augmented developers in India. Provide technical oversight, enforce standards, and coach the team in modern NetSuite development and administration.  
  • Full Lifecycle Management: Oversee NetSuite configuration, SuiteScript development, platform releases, and data integration. Lead UAT, deployment planning, and issue triage.  
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate directly with functional leaders to translate operational challenges into system solutions. Lead business-facing discussions that result in actionable, simplified system enhancements. 
  • M&A Integration: Develop and execute playbooks for integrating acquisitions. Lead ERP/CRM migration efforts from systems such as Sage 200, Odoo, or proprietary platforms into the NetSuite ecosystem. 
  • Governance & Quality Assurance: Establish a governance model to manage change, minimize platform sprawl, and improve user experience. Set the tone for discipline, security, and documentation across the ERP practice. 
  • Global ERP Maturity: Build an ERP roadmap aligned with Levata’s growth strategy, enabling automation, real-time reporting, and international expansion.

Qualifications :
  • 10+ years in ERP/CRM leadership roles, including at least 6 years managing cross functional or development teams  
  • 5+ years of NetSuite administration and configuration experience in complex environment
  • 3+ years of Project and/or team leadership experience 
  • Demonstrated success simplifying complex business processes and replacing manual work with scalable, NetSuite-native solutions 
  • Proven experience in performance tuning, including form optimization, script refactoring, integration reliability, and workflow execution speed 
  • Expertise in Oracle NetSuite ERP and CRM — including full lifecycle implementations, re-implementations, and platform upgrades 
  • Strong understanding of SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, saved searches, and  role-based security design 
  • Leadership of global or distributed teams, with experience managing staff- augmented engineers (e.g., India-based resources) 
  • Hands-on experience integrating acquired companies and migrating from ERPs such as Sage 200, Odoo, or custom legacy platforms NetSuite certifications preferred: Administrator, ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer 
  • Experience in high-volume sales and reseller business environments (e.g., AIDC, ID  channels) 
  • Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills — able to bridge business and technical domains  
Compensation expectations are in the area of 180k+
