We are seeking a strong Sales Manager to oversee a group of Account Executives. The Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of running an efficient sales team, including hiring, supervising, coaching, and motivating direct report Account Executives.
What You'll Do
  • Responsible for managing a high performing Inside sales team.
  • Drive sales strategy in partnership with the VP of Sales to attain sales and profit quotas.
  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to customers.
  • Coordinate the involvement of support personnel and/or leadership to ensure customers’ expectations are met.
  • Proactively inspect sales activity and quality of effort of sales team and provide individualized coaching as needed.
  • Work with leadership and other departments to ensure strategic and business objectives are met by the sales team.
  • Establish and develop strong vendor partner relationships.
  • Lead accurate and timely forecasting efforts of sales team.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with sales personnel managed. Provide a management-level point of contact for key customers.
  • Build peer support and strong internal company relationships with other key management personnel!
  • Establish productive relationships with marketing based on frequent communication, collaboration, and the effective allocation of marketing investment in relevant areas.
 
Accountabilities and Performance Measures
  • Achievement of assigned team quotas for sales, profit, and strategic objectives 
  • Accountable for the thorough implementation of all customer related initiatives among sales personnel managed. 
  • Prioritizes coaching and performance management efforts to have the greatest overall impact on business results.
  • Coaches to the individual through an understanding of both skill and engagement
  • Hires, and develops Account Executives, utilizing company human resources guidelines and support resources.
  • Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
  • Positively impacts the performance of individual sales team members by implementing and managing sales and sales support tools, including training programs, productivity initiatives, account and territory planning methodologies, and customer communication tools.
 
 
 
What You'll Need 
  • 2 years+ selling technology products and solutions.
  • Sales supervisory or Team Lead experience preferred.
  • History of achieving sales quotas.
